July has been busy so far, of course the Birthday season started in May with Craig and Mr K's birthday and the visit to Brighton but July is the girlie B'day celebrations and we started off with a visit to hot sunny London for Victoria's birthday. Mr. K managed to get the back door to Rob and Vic's flat opened and we discovered just how hot the little patio was, ideal for outdoor living; first thing we did was go get a little disposable barbeque from Lidl none too shabby a price at £1.99 and perfect for the first barbeque of the year!
Meanwhile I was obsessed with the idea that they had an outdoor space to hang washing out and couldn't rest until I'd bought some pegs, crazy but true, it made me very happy to hang the washing out.
Happiness is having some outdoor space to sit in the sun and read your kindle after the washing is hung out...
And the pegs came in useful for helping display Rob's birthday decorations.
the Engineer but it wasn't to be this year and to be honest we had a wonderful time and wouldn't have had it any other way; a walk round Camden, some ice cream, BBQ cooked by Rob, bubbly and birthday cake, who could ask for more!
And then it was all steam ahead for Victoria to complete the crocheted cushion for her sister's birthday, and back it came with us to Glasgow for another birthday barbeque!
